Inside Sales Engineer

Reports To:Inside Sales Manager
Purpose: Total Energy Systems, LLC (TES) is seeking a qualified Inside Sales Engineer based in one of our sales/service locations and reports directly to our Inside Sales Manager. The basic function of the Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for specification and blueprint review, new product quotes, CRM/database management and process adherence for pre-sale customer relations
Key Job Accountabilities:1. Lead Identification
a. Gather request for quotes from various sources
b. Handle incoming technical calls
2. Quote Preparation
a. Estimating and preparing proposals on time via QuickPack
b. Support engineers, contractors and Generator Systems Specialists
c. Training and assisting on specs/sizing via QuickPack
d. Preparing necessary forms for additional discounts
e. Searching and gathering more competitive pricing on outside purchases
3. CRM
a. Project management duties for specific projects in pre-sale area
Skills/Abilities/Requirements/Experience:Skills and Abilities:
1. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
2. Ability to self-start, work without supervision, exercise good judgment and decision-making
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Experience with MS Office
5. Attention to detail, including the ability to manage projects to the customer’s expectation
6. Strong customer service orientation
7. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
8. Knowledge of electrical systems and generators is desired

Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college or university; or two to five years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Past project management or estimating experience with a licensed electrical contractor will be strongly considered
3. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree will be strongly considered
4. Required: Valid Driver’s License
